WE-PROPOSE investigates the return processes of migrant women, in particular Tunisian and Moroccan women who, after a period of stay in Italy and Europe, decide to return to their country of origin for various personal and family reasons, as well as the prospect of developing entrepreneurial and local development projects.
WE-PROPOSE aims to focus, through primary data collection and analysis, personal interviews and focus groups, on the experiences of success and failure, emancipation and protagonism of these migrants, promoting the integration of women into the labour force and the development of entrepreneurial skills.
Disseminating and offering research results accessible to the public, through meetings, conferences and artistic devices to bring out what it means for a woman to return to her country of origin and what factors come into play in the migratory process of return.
WE-PROPOSE aims to involve Policy Makers, Associations and networks that welcome and support migrant women in Italy, Associations and networks involved in assisted voluntary return.
